Also known as: 吸血鬼ドラキュラ, ブラム・ストーカーのドラキュラ, ドラキュラ(ブラム・ストーカー)
The 1897 Gothic Horror novel by Bram Stoker centered around the Transylvanian Vampire count Dracula. One of the most influential works in vampire fiction, superceding the likes of Polidori's Lord Ruthven from The Vampyre, Le Fanu's Mircalla Karnstein from Carmilla (Novel), Rosny aîné's the Young Vampire, and more.
The novel has been adapted to film multiple times, most notably in 1931 by Universal Pictures. Bela Lugosi's portrayal of Dracula inspired most subsequent portrayals of the character. Nosferatu Eine Symphonie Des Grauens, an unauthorized 1922 adaptation, would become influential in its own right. The 1958 by Hammer Film is similarly influential.
