The MAB 38 (Moschetto Automatico Beretta Modello 1938) or Model 38 and its variants were a series of World War II-era Italian 9×19mm Submachine Guns designed by Beretta, produced from 1938 until 1975.
It has a conventional one-piece wooden stock and tubular receiver profile. The Beretta Model 1 and 2 variant have a pistol grip and MP40-style Folded Stock.
