The seventeenth installment in the Battlefield (Series) series. The game is set in the 2040s, where the world experiences near total societal collapse due to the deteriorating climate. As a result, the United States and the Russian Federation become the only superpowers, and fight over the remaining resources by employing No-Pats; refugees and exiles without a national identity, due to them being affected by the game's events.
