The third installment in the Battlefield (Series) series. The game is set in a global conflict between the United States with the European Union, and the People's Republic of China with the Middle Eastern Coalition; a military alliance comprised of various Arab states. A later expansion focuses on operations between special forces units and paramilitary organizations.
