A Russian 5.45×39mm Assault Rifle, designed in 2011 and manufactured by the Kalashnikov Concern. It is the fifth generation of Kalashnikov Rifles. The AK-12 was intended to supplant the AK-74M in the Russian Armed Forces. The Weapon features an adjustable Folded Stock, three-round burst mode, a standard pistol grip with finger grooves, Picatinny rails, and a diopter rear sight instead of open one.
The AK-19 is a variant chambered for 5.56×45mm NATO.
