The small, puffy fatty deposits under the eyes that are considered attractive in East Asia, often associated with a youthful and cute appearance.
This feature is sometimes enhanced through makeup or cosmetic procedures to create a more pronounced look. Certain fashion styles, such as Gyaru and Jirai Kei, may use eyeshadow under the eyes to accentuate this area.
In contrast, most Western cultures view puffy eyes as unattractive and as making a person look tired, older, or like they're having an allergic reaction.
