The titular character of the Popeye (Series) series. He is a Sailor who is almost always seen with a Corncob Pipe in his mouth.
He is frequently harassed by his taller arch-enemy Bluto, who is normally stronger than him. However, whenever he eats Spinach, he gains superhuman strength and is capable of defeating Bluto and other adversaries with ease.
