Nintendo's eighth video Game Console, successor to Nintendo Switch. Like the Switch, it is a hybrid console, usable as both a Handheld Game Console or docked to be used as a home Game Console.
It was revealed on January 16, 2025 and released on June 5, 2025.
Its Joy-Con 2s have a protrusion for clipping into the sides of the main body magnetically, rather than sliding onto the sides from the top like the original Switch. They are also mostly black, with their colors only in the attaching side and the inner part of the control sticks.
