Lepus (the Hare) is a Constellation located in the Southern celestial hemisphere. Its brightest star is Arneb.
Lepus lies directly below Orion (Constellation) and has the appearance of a stick figure animal with long ears, hence resembling its namesake.
Not to be confused with Lupus (Constellation) (the Wolf).
