2ch.ru, also referred as Dvach (2007-2009) was the first, albeit short-lived Russian-language imageboard. Its mascot is Dvach-Tan, alongside Slavya-Chan and USSR-Tan, with Russia-Onee-Sama serving an early role.
After the site's closure, it was cloned multiple times due to its popularity; the most notable and highest populated example is 2-ch.ru «Tyrech» (2009-2014) which was changed into 2ch.hk «Harkach» (2014 - present time).
Not to be confused with 2channel, an unrelated Japanese text board of similar origins.
