Youkai is a major antagonist in Zenless Zone Zero. It is an extremely sophisticated, highly intelligent artificial intelligence and one of the Four Keys originating from outside New Eridu, serving as a direct counterpart and enemy to Fairy (alongside Jinni and Ghost).
In game, they are depicted as a red eye. A fanmade Personification was featured in the 2026 Zenless-focused HoYoFair video "The Random Play 2nd Anniversary", gaining traction among artists.
