Famously, Hero Commissar Ciaphas Cain began his career alongside Valhallan units. Visually, the Valhallan Ice Warriors are based off the Soviet Union's Red Army, as opposed to the Vostroyan Firstborns, which are based off the Russian Cossacks and Tsarist era.
