Haneru is a middle school student who loves dance to the point he can hear rhythm in the sound of chalk during class. One day after school, in the secret spot where he practices dancing, he meets Kanon, who's there to practice as well. The have a great time dancing together, and eventually face off against rivals in dance battles as they grow up.
