The sixth game of SNK's The King Of Fighters series. This game signifies the beginning of the NESTS Saga and the gameplay style has been altered so that you can have a striker assist you. The game got an update called "The King of Fighters '99: Evolution" with the addition of Extra Strikers. This game also marks the start of the NESTS arc, and the introduction of a new protagonist, K' (Kof).
