About Taurus Curve

Formally the Taurus Model 180, a very compact .380 ACP pocket pistol manufactured in Brazil. The Curve was intended to be the last word in concealed carry pistols circa 2015. As part of that design brief it is, as the name suggests, curved. This was intended to provide a more comfortable fit against the body than a conventional rectilinear handgun. The curved construction had two major drawbacks, however. It made the gun all but useless to left-handed shooters, since it could only be carried on the right side of the body; and it made the experience of actually shooting the Curve somewhat bizarre for anyone, particularly as it has no sights. Roundly panned by purchasers the shooting press, the Curve quietly disappeared from Taurus's lineup after only a few years in production.

In Girls' Frontline 2, the Curve is the imprinted firearm of the T-doll Colphne, in whose hands it is far more lethal than the real gun could ever dream of being.
