A spider mage who first appears in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. While he is initially antagonistic towards Kirby and King Dedede, all he is really doing is blindly following orders from his ruler and former friend Queen Sectonia. After the latter seemingly dies at the end of her final battle, Taranza carries on with his life, sometimes continuing to help Kirby.
