Stigmata

A series of five marks on an individual's body which correspond to Jesus's crucifixion wounds, ostensibly exhibited by some saints and other profoundly devout individuals. They manifest as a scar, bleeding wound or hole in each hand and foot from being nailed to the cross and a fifth wound in the side from the spear of a Roman soldier.
