One of the playable special infected in the [[Left 4 Dead] series.
The Smoker is a tall zombie who uses it's extraordinary long tongue to pull a survivor to itself, choking them when caught on an obstacle or off a ledge. True to it's name, it will leave a smokescreen when killed which blocks vision and prevents communication between survivors.
