Sentient ratlike humanoids from Warhammer Fantasy infamous for their cowardice, treachery, megalomania and inability to admit their mistakes (all these weaknesses work against the skaven on a personal and specific level, preventing them from dominating the world of Warhammer Fantasy through sheer numbers; i.e. the "vermin tide" is self-defeating).
