This tag generally includes any type of closed shoe less than ankle-height, including Sneakers, Loafers, Mary Janes, High Heels, etc. It does not include other types of shoes, such as Boots, Sandals, Slippers, etc, that either go past the ankle, don't cover the whole foot, or aren't made of sturdy material.
