The human main character from the sci-fi novel and film Project Hail Mary who was forcibly sent on a mission to save Earth from the astrophage (a microorganism that eats stars) and meets the Eridian alien he named "Rocky (Project Hail Mary)", who was on a mission to save his world from the same threat.
In the 2026 film, this character was played by the famous Canadian actor Ryan Gosling.
