About Queen Anne'S Lace

The flower of the Daucus carota, the species from which the Carrot is derived from. It's undomesticated form is a common weed which prolifates during summer.

The small flowers growns as compact umbel, similar to a parasol-shaped bouquet. When looked from above, this inflorescence resembles a knit lace, hence the common name.
