In Baseball (Sport), pitching is the act of throwing the Baseball (Object) at the opposing team's batter, aiming to strike the batter out by delivering the ball to the Catcher (Baseball) without letting the batter hit it. Typically this is done from atop the Pitcher'S Mound.
