Pedal (Instrument)

A foot-operated switch associated with a musical instrument. This could include the purely mechanical pedals on upright pianos, grand pianos and pipe organs, electro-mechanical pedals on an electric or digital piano, an effects "stompbox" as often associated with electric guitar and so on.
