When a winged character is depicted without Wings. This can be an Artistic Error (e.g. a character is drawn with wings in all but one panel of a comic) or a stylistic choice by the artist.
When a winged character tries to hide the wings, but you still catch a glimpse of them use Wings Hidden. If the wings were physically removed, Wing Amputee.
