Mallet (Instrument)

A percussion mallet used to play some percussion instruments, such as Marimba, Xylophone, and Timpani. Made of a thin shaft (usually metal or wood) and a head of varying materials - most commonly metal, wood, rubber, plastics, or yarn - to produce a range of different sounds.
