Kinesiology Tape

A type of elastic fabric Tape used to provide external support to muscles, either as a treatment for injury, or in an attempt to prevent same. Its effectiveness in both roles is disputed, but athletes are often seen wearing it in competition. If an athlete is depicted with what seem like randomly placed, unusually large Bandaids on their body, especially the shoulders, back, and/or legs, that's kinesio tape.
