Jian (Weapon)

Also known as: 剑, 劍

A double-edged straight Chinese Sword of 45 to 80 centimeters (17.7 to 31.5 inches) in length, with a one- or two-handed grip, a tapering, pointed blade, and a pommel that is sometimes decorated with a Sword Tassel. Jian are still used in Martial Arts today.
