The dark, Avenger-class version of Jeanne D'Arc (Fate) from Fate/Grand Order. Also called Jalter for short by fans.
Unlike the other Alter Servants, Jeanne Alter is a separate entity of the original Jeanne d'Arc. She was created by Gilles de Rais, who was so obsessed with Jeanne that he used a corrupted Holy Grail (Fate) to "revive" her. As a result, she is a polar opposite of Jeanne, as she wished to destroy France rather than protect it, as she blamed the very existence of France as a cause of her "original" death.
She is a boss-only character under the Ruler-class during the events of the Orleans (Fate/Grand Order) Singularity. In Fate/Samurai Remnant, she is summoned as a Lancer-class servant.
She is often depicted as being Tsundere in official and fan works, and being somewhat annoyed (though secretly admiring) that the original Jeanne treats her as a sister.
