Hay

Visually, there will likely be no difference between hay and straw on Danbooru, so no distinction is made here. In agriculture, there is a major difference between straw and hay. Straw is a by-product from harvesting crops and has little to no nutritional value. Hay is a product deliberately grown and harvested before seeding when the plants will contain a high concentration of nutrients, thus making them useful as feed for animals.
