Metal Armored gloves or mitts that protect the hands and wrists of a combatant.
A typical gauntlet will have a cuff that partially extends over the forearm with a flared opening suitable for use in conjunction with other arm protection, such as Vambraces.
Not to be confused with Bridal Gauntlets, Mechanical Hands, Mechanical Arms, or Prosthetic Arms.
