A 32-bit Handheld Game Console manufactured by Nintendo and released in 2001. The successor to the Game Boy line, and succeeded by the Nintendo DS.
The original model was followed by the Game Boy Advance SP in 2003, and then by the Game Boy Micro in 2005.
