An accessory for the Famicom/NES. He also appears in Mario Kart DS and Super Smash Bros. as a playable character. Other cameo appearances include Kirby'S Dream Land 3, the WarioWare series, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
In Japan, the accessory is known as the Famicom Robot (shortened to simply "Robot" for his Mario Kart and Super Smash. Bros. appearances) and it has a red and white color scheme, matching an actual Famicom. In the West, it is mainly colored grey, somewhat matching the NES colors.
