Signature monster of Muto Yugi in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, anime and collectible card game. He is the Duel Monster spirit of Mahad, one of the priests who served pharaoh Atem (Yugi's ancient Egyptian counterpart). His apprentice Mana (Yu-Gi-Oh!) also appears as a duel monster known as Dark Magician Girl. Known as "Black Magician" in Japanese.
