D'Orsay Heels

Closed or open-toed heels with a separate toe and heel cup section, with the middle part cut away, often but not necessarily secured with an Ankle Strap. The middle is completely open on top and at the sides, and there are no other straps besides the single ankle strap (and toe strap).
