About Creedence Clearwater Revival

Also known as: クリーデンス・クリアウォーター・リバイバル

Creedence Clearwater Revival was an American rock band composed of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother, rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford. The band began in 1959 as the Blue Velvets before settling with their current name in 1967. After producing several hit songs, the band disbanded in 1972 due to animosity and disagreements between the band members.

The band's most famous song was their 1969 hit song, "Fortunate Son", released during the growing backlash against America's involvement in the Vietnam War.
