Chichen Itza

Chichén Itzá (often spelled Chichen Itza in English and traditional Yucateco Maya) was a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya people of the Terminal Classic period. The archeological site is located in Tinúm Municipality, Yucatan State, Mexico.
