A piece of tactical clothing consisting of a Chest Harness with multiple Pouches to hold various items, such as Magazine (Weapon)s, Walkie-Talkies, knives, and other useful tools.
Initially designed for Military and Police during combat, chest rigs have been adopted for civilian use - especially ones designed with a single Pouch.
Examples
- Chest rig. Pouches are separate from clothing article, situated on the torso/chest.
- Load-Bearing Vest. Pouches are integrated with the tactical vest.
- Load-Bearing Equipment. Situated around the waist, the gear may consist more than just Ammunition Pouches.
