Also known as: カールグスタフm/45, M76
A 9mm caliber Swedish Submachine Gun developed during the later stages of World War II. Also known as the Kulsprutepistol m/45, Kpist m/45, or the Swedish K SMG. The design features a simple blowback mechanism inspired by earlier SMGs like the MP40, low-cost stamped sheet metal parts that make its profile looks both angular and tubular, and a side-folding wire stock.
This tag also applies to the Smith & Wesson Model 76, the American-made copy used by US forces in Vietnam War. It was made as the result of Swedish weapon export embargo to the United States in 1966.
