Bachi

Also known as: 撥

A Plectrum (pick) used for stringed instruments like the Shamisen and biwa.

It should not be confused with the straight, wooden Taiko Sticks used to play Japanese Taiko Drums, which are also called bachi (written 桴, 枹).
