Also known as: Aelathehuntress, 狩猟の女神アエラ
A character from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A member of The Companions, a clan of warriors who take contracts across the province. Aela is a major character within the faction's questline, being part of The Circle, a subsect within the group consisting of their senior and most elite warriors beneath the Harbinger, the Companions' leader-figure. In her default appearance, she has shoulder-length Brown Hair, distinctive Facepaint of three claw marks, and wears the Ancient Nord Armor set (the female version of which being a Backless Outfit). If the player completes the Companions' questline, she becomes a potential follower and marriage candidate.
Unknown to the public, the Circle and the Harbinger are practitioners of Lycanthropy, and have the ability to turn into werewolves, due to a pact with a coven of witches. Thus, Aela is also a werewolf. Notably, she is the only living member who will retain her werewolf blood after all primary and non-radiant quests for the Companions have been completed.
