The first series in the Time Bokan (Series) Mecha series, running from 1975-1976.
This series follows Tanpei (Time Bokan) and Junko (Time Bokan), two lab assistants, as they search for Junko's missing grandfather through time in the titular machine. With the aid of a talking Parrot named Perasuke, the pair search different time periods based on what he remembers. They are antagonized by the Time Skeletons, a group of villains aiming to use Perasuke to find powerful ores known as Dynamonds in order to rule the world.
This also serves as the introduction of the "trio"-type villains seen throughout the series through Maajo, Grocky, and Warusaa.
An anime re-imagining titled Time Bokan 24 ran from 2016-2017.
