Style Parody of the artist Shibafu (Glock23), known as Shibafu-mura (Shibafu Village) in JP.
He is infamous among Kantai Collection fans for using a very similar face for all of the shipgirls drawn by him, such as Akagi, Kasuga Maru, Ooi, and Fubuki. This style involves a squarish face with round cheeks, Tareme eyes (typically; Kaga (Kancolle) is a notable exception), and a small nose and mouth. For extra effect, the same shading techniques used by Shibafu can be used. The shape of the faces is often compared to a potato, hence the EN nicknames of "Potato Faces" or "Potato Curse".
A common gag is the Shibafu Village, where characters drawn by Shibafu grow Potatoes, which are sometimes depicted as having the power to change one's drawing style into Shibafu's, face and all.
Don't use this tag for art actually drawn by Shibafu.
