Sagittarius (the Archer) is a Zodiac Constellation located in the Southern celestial hemisphere, between Scorpius (Constellation) to the west and Capricornus to the east. Its brightest star is Kaus Australis.
Sagittarius has the rough appearance of a stick-figure centaur archer drawing a bow. The brightest stars of the constellation form an asterism known as the Teapot.
