He originally had no name, and was only referred to using a first-person pronoun ([code]ぼく[/code], boku).
Looks extremely similar to Ness (Mother 2) with his blue and yellow Striped Shirt and turned red Baseball Cap. As a result, most fanartists add the Bandana from the infamous MOTHER commercial to his wardrobe and keep his hat turned opposite to Ness' to distinguish between them.
