King Delgal is the now-deceased king of the "golden kingdom"; the underground castle and surroundings that make up the titular dungeon of Dungeon Meshi. He grew up alongside Thistle (Dungeon Meshi), his father's court jester/adopted son/court wizard. Yaad (Dungeon Meshi) is his grandson.
