Also known as Toffee apple, in Commonwealth English.
A whole Apple covered in a hard sugar candy coating, Caramel, or Chocolate. Candy apples are a common treat at Autumn Festivals such as Halloween.
It is easy to mistake a candy apple for a red Lollipop due to artists drawing a candy apple spherical. So take notice of the surroundings, flat bottom/top and size of the candy.
